Honestly i believe the best one for this event is the ECMWF .... but it may not carry through with this second and third parts of Huda.... im very horrified by the performance of the models in general.. as even up to 12 hours before they still cannot give a reasonable reading... everything is up in the air at this point... we as analysts of weather are going to have to devise our own scenarios for the rest of this event using our deductive logic ... the radar..a and the satellites... because the models are all over the place and no one seems to agree... even up to the event point... it seems global warming is finally taking its toll on the computers that process the information... even in the US my friends tell me the same... predictions involving snow and cold are inaccurate and off.... something is seriously wrong... they can give us the general idea... but the details are beginning to fail month by month

You are very correct about the inaccuracy of the forecasts in the US, but that is nothing new. I followed Weather forecasts in the US for the past 25 years and have witnessed very accurate forecasts and some that were not. I remember back in the 80s an incident were a weather forecaster in Memphis ,Tennessee was beat up pretty bad for forecasting snow and when his prediction failed people got real upset and beat him up.
